Not a Traveller

I am not a traveller.

I am just another person who likes to see places and has a to-do list all the time ready with herself.

I like to tick my to do list every time I see something new and also I like to add back a lot many to-do tasks. So my list just grows everyday.

I am the person who goes to places in search of something new and gets satisfied easily. The best part is that I find new things even in the most regular kind of activities and get the feeling of satisfaction.

Recently in one of my solo trips, I discovered that I am not at all a good planner but I don’t regret it :) Because even when I find myself lost and don't know what to do , I am able to find things to keep myself engaged. I think, that's enough for me.

So the objective behind telling you my silly story is, to ask you if you are also that another person who likes new places. if yes, then why you are stuck here. Just get up. Go and find that unusual activity in your daily routine and enjoy the emotion.

I know, there is a free advice somewhere hidden in my story. don't try to steal it. :)

Another learning in life: Don’t take anyone for granted

When you meet people, they bring either positive or negative energy around you and they are going to give you another perspective for seeing things. After meeting them,  You will be looking at life with a different angle.

Don’t take anyone for granted be it your Family, friends or even someone you are meeting for the very first time.

Life is not same all the time and as they say, it’s similar to a round circle and sometimes may be too short..so Respect, Love, Care and Enjoy everyone. Because if you lose them, You don’t wanna fill your days with regrets and this moment is not gonna come back for sure.

A step towards my country, My Beautiful India

I am neither a big personality nor am I the most matured person on earth. But i do have a sense of responsibility and my understanding says that every one of us has it.

The statement above is totally based on the thought taking a small step and contributing back to society.

I strongly urge to every one of you, this is the right moment. Don’t wait anymore. In addition, Keep in mind contribution doesn’t mean only Money rather it can be in any form.

I am going to do it in whatever way I can do.

Free advice is good sometimes :)

Responses to Female travellers...Travelling alone? Are you serious? It’s not safe..blah blah blah!

Ladies, have you ever heard all of this whenever you expressed the thought of travelling alone?

Don’t worry these are the people who are always busy in arithmetic and are satisfied with whatever they see everyday.

If you have the urge for travelling to new places, follow these three instructions strictly:
·         Ask your family and assure them that you will be safe. Your safety is of utmost importance.
·         Don’t think too much. Just go, because this is the right time.
·        Don’t plead to someone for joining you, there are a lot many lone travellers so you will be adding just one more.

Now, would like to share four important tips which you may find worth considering, whenever you are travelling to some other city or to some other country.

1.  Read, Analyse and Plan:
Make enquiries about the place. Read about it, analyse all the risks and plan accordingly. The only aim should be to maximise your learning and have a great experience. Travel should be in a disciplined manner and try to fix and stick to the timelines. Although flexibility is okay sometimes but you are the only one who has to take a call.

2.  Observe your surroundings and be aware:
To involve yourself with the local culture is good but make sure that you know your surroundings and are not lost into it. Always keep in mind that people around you know that you are a tourist and that exposes you to a possible risk. Would advise not to trust everyone, not even a female. So keep yourself safe.

3.  Stay in touch:
Inform your family and a few closed friends about your tentative travel plan, give them a few contact nos. To be used in emergency. Keep them updated with your whereabouts. This must be your “must to do” checklist item.

4. Enjoy to the fullest:
And this is the most important tip. Rejuvenate yourself and enjoy to the fullest. Don’t look into your wallet too much J although its better to stick to your budget.

(not to mention always keep many copies of your important documents like passport, visa etc...Just in case...)

So pack your bags, go there and explore J

Once you come back, people, who were being so sceptical about your travel plan, will be the first ones to come and to listen to your stories.
